Albert Suyargulov has filed a new lawsuit for the confiscation of assets belonging to the former head of the Kirov and Moscow districts of Kazan, Sergey Mironov, for the benefit of the state. According to "Real Time," the prosecutor's list of demands does not include any apartments, land, or plots — only income from renting out four commercial premises for the year 2025. In the first lawsuit, which has already been satisfied by the courts, the rental income was limited by the plaintiff to the year 2024, although while the proceedings were ongoing, the tenants were paying... Among the defendants are the mother of the former official, Irina Mironova, and the brother of his wife, Artem Kornilov. The former was recently listed as the owner of the spaces rented out for the "Pyaterochka" supermarket in a multi-story building on Komsomolskaya Street. The latter rented out spaces for two "Pyaterochka" stores and a "Pharmaland" pharmacy in the "Salavat Kupere" residential complex. Both, according to the supervisory authority, which was supported by the Supreme Court of Tatarstan and the appellate instance, were nominal owners. Thus, the main defendant in the already satisfied and new lawsuits is Sergey Mironov.

According to the court's decision that has come into force, the four specified premises are subject to confiscation for the benefit of the state, as well as the profit amounting to 116.6 million rubles from their rental for the year 2024 inclusive.
Let us remind you that the civil lawsuit from the supervisory authority was filed back in 2023. The initial demands included a total amount of 308 million rubles for 65 real estate objects registered in the name of relatives of the then head of the Kirov and Moscow districts of Kazan. The Prosecutor's Office of Tatarstan considered Mironov to be the ultimate beneficiary of these assets, accusing him of a significant discrepancy between his official income and expenses.
By the end of the civil process, the amount of claims had increased to 460 million rubles, taking into account the amount for eight alienated real estate objects and income from renting out commercial spaces that fell into the list "for dispossession." This included the "Pyaterochka" premises in the building on Komsomolskaya Street, owned by the mother of the main defendant. Mironov and the defendants did not acknowledge the lawsuit.

In July 2025, the Supreme Court of Tatarstan ruled: to confiscate 45 objects for the benefit of the state and recover 145 million rubles — rental income and the value of the alienated assets. The court excluded five objects from the list proposed by the prosecutor's office — the apartment of Sergey Mironov's mother, the apartment of his father-in-law Viktor Kornilov, and three parking spaces. The defendants appealed the decision. On December 30, 2025, the Fourth Appellate Court of General Jurisdiction rejected the arguments of the defense's appeals, and the decision came into force.
At that time, the rental income for 2025 was left out, but the supervisory authority decided to fill the gap. Suyargulov's lawsuit has already been submitted for consideration to the Novo-Savinovsky District Court of Kazan and was today referred to Judge Irina Sultanova for review. The Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service for Tatarstan has been named as the second plaintiff in the case.
According to "Real Time," the defendants partially complied with the decision in the first anti-corruption case — they handed over the keys to all residential premises and deposited 98 million rubles, after which they filed for personal bankruptcy.
