      In Tatarstan, the register of public priorities for 2026 has been approved. The document was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic, Alexey Pesoshin. The list of key areas for this year includes measures to curb the growth of prices and tariffs, increase the incomes of residents — including salaries, pensions, and benefits, as well as enhance social support for the population. Special attention is given to improving the state of housing and communal services. The main priority has become curbing the growth of prices and tariffs — supported by 61.6% of participants in sociological studies. Increasing the population's income was chosen by 31.0% of respondents, while improving the state of housing and communal services was selected by 29.6%. Now, the executive authorities of the republic need to include activities in these areas in the current and developing state programs of Tatarstan. The report on the implementation of public priorities for 2026 must be sent to the Center for Economic and Social Research of the Republic of Tatarstan under the Cabinet of Ministers no later than December 1 of the current year.
