       The head of the Federal Tax Service for the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Safiullin, announced the results of the declaration campaign for 2025, according to which the layer of citizens with extremely high incomes continues to grow in the region.

       According to the head of the tax service for Tatarstan, Marat Safiullin, during the reporting period, 121 thousand tax declarations were registered, in which individuals reported income ranging from one million rubles and above. As RBC clarifies, regarding incomes exceeding the threshold of one billion rubles, 39 residents of Tatarstan reported to the tax authorities, according to the head of the agency. For example, at the end of 2024, there were 2 billionaires fewer in the republic. In the category of citizens with wealth from 100 million to 1 billion rubles, there was also a significant increase – 340 people declared such a level of income, which is 13% or 38 people more than in the previous tax period. The largest number of declarations, recorded in the range from 1 to 10 million rubles, was submitted by 117.08 thousand taxpayers. This segment showed the most significant growth – an increase of 23% compared to the data for 2024. As for the category of citizens with incomes from 10 to 100 million rubles, the dynamics here were less pronounced, but still positive. The number of residents of the republic whose incomes fell within these limits increased over the year by 2%, reaching 74 people, while the total number of registered declarations in this range exceeded 3 thousand units. The head of the agency also reminded the residents of Tatarstan about the approaching deadlines for fulfilling tax obligations. Marat Safiullin emphasized that all individuals required to report their incomes for 2025 must submit their tax declaration in the form 3-NDFL no later than April 30, 2026. It was previously reported that inflation in Tatarstan accelerated to 7% in March 2026, becoming the leader in the country.
