      At the Central City Library of Naberezhnye Chelny, a special meeting was held for young people with mental disabilities from the Comprehensive Center for Social Services "Doverie." The event took place as part of the project of the Volga Federal District "Mental Health" and the Year of Unity of Peoples. The honorary guest was the People's Artist of Tatarstan, laureate of the Baki Urmanche Prize, Madiyar Khaziev. Participants got acquainted with his personal exhibition "Song to the Motherland," which features painted landscapes, everyday scenes, and national motifs. The master shared stories about the creation of his works and sources of inspiration with the guests. After the tour of the exhibition, a master class "Carnation" was held, during which participants learned to create a flower from crepe paper — a symbol of freedom, labor, and spring. Under the guidance of mentors, young people mastered the technique of forming petals, giving volume to the bud, and assembling the composition. This creative event gave participants bright emotions and impressions, and the library once again confirmed its status not only as a repository of books but also as a center of cultural attraction, where an atmosphere of kindness and mutual understanding prevails.
