      The Ministry of Digital Development of Tatarstan and the company "Tattelecom" (brand "Letai") have implemented a new way to inform about air threats. When the Unified Duty Dispatch Services of municipalities activate the centralized opening of entrance doors upon the announcement of an alarm, users of the "My Home Letai" app will receive a notification about the air alarm mode. The message specifies the territories of which settlements the air threat has been declared. Starting from 2025, the intercom panels of "Tattelecom" will simultaneously play voice notifications about emergency situations while opening the entrance doors. This allows people who find themselves outside to quickly take shelter indoors. This functionality has now been supplemented with notifications in the mobile application. After the air threat mode is lifted, a message will be sent about the closing of the doors. "Just this year, the air attack threat mode has been declared in Tatarstan for over 370 hours. This is a reality we have to face, and today's conditions require that information systems be as prepared as possible for any challenges. The main thing for us is that every person knows what to do and where to take shelter at such moments. Digital services, mobile applications, and integration with urban infrastructure all help us create a system that we will continue to improve," noted the Minister of Digital Development of Tatarstan, Ilya Nachvin. "Our task is to make the notification of possible danger as quick as possible, and access to safe places unobstructed," said the General Director of PJSC "Tattelecom," Ayrat Nurutdinov. "Currently, more than 865,000 users are registered in the mobile application of our company's IP intercom. The new functionality of 'My Home Letai' has become another contribution to the development of a comprehensive security system for the residents of the republic."

      To receive notifications about the operation of emergency situations and the automatic opening of entrance doors, it is necessary to update the "My Home Letai" application to the latest version. More than 550,000 residents of Tatarstan use this digital service monthly. A total of over 19,000 "Letai" intercom panels have been installed across the Republic of Tatarstan.
