Program of events for Victory Day 2026 in Zainsk: from April 29 to May 9

      In the Zainsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, a large-scale program has been prepared to celebrate the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. From April 29 to May 9, residents and guests of the city can look forward to patriotic events, sports tournaments, concerts, festivals, and memorial ceremonies.       Sports in honor of Victory: tournaments and events

      Zainsk is renowned for its sports traditions, and May 2026 will be no exception. Key events include: April 29, 11:00 — Volkov Memorial Wrestling Tournament, dedicated to the 81st anniversary of Victory. May 2-3, 10:00 — "Victory Cup" volleyball tournament among men's and women's teams at the "Start" Sports and Recreation Complex. May 4-7 — Sports event "Towards Victory" (duathlon: running + swimming) at the Stadium and swimming pool. May 6, 10:30 — Shooting competition in memory of the hero of the SVO S.I. Petrushenko at School No. 7. May 7, 18:00 — "Victory" bike ride (route: House of Culture "Energetik" — Energetikov St. — Oil Workers Ave. — Lenin St. — Komsomolskaya St. — Rafikova St. — Monument to the Liberator Soldier).

      Cultural front: festivals and poetry evenings

      Alongside sports, a large cultural program will unfold. April 30 at 16:00 — Regional guitar music festival-competition "I, You, We and the Guitar". Venue: Youth Park.

      May 1

      10:00 — Republican festival "Play, Accordion" in R.Sh. Fardiev Park. 18:00 — Patriotic concert "Peace! Labor! May!" at the square of the House of Culture "Energetik". 19:00 — ceremonial launch of the city fountains. May 4 at 17:00 — literary and poetic evening "We Remember! We Are Proud!" (Youth Park). From May 4 to 8, a theatrical festival of rural culture houses will take place there (daily at 18:00).

      Memory and honors: from May 5 to 8

      May 5, 17:30 — Literary and musical evening at the square of the House of Culture "Energetik". A joint effort of the Education Department and the Culture Department. May 5-8, 20:00 — Film marathon of movies about the Great Victory in Youth Park. May 6, 10:00 — Grand opening ceremony of the museum room at School No. 7.

      May 8

      10:00 — Rally in the historical part of the city (Zainsk-2). 12:00 — Laying of flowers in the Mirny microdistrict and opening of the monument. 12:00 — Athletics relay race.

      16:30 — Action "Cultural Front": a festive vehicle with artists will travel to the addresses of veterans, giving mini-concerts right at their homes. 19:30 — Action "Candle of Memory".

      The parade, rally, and concert are the heart of the celebration: 10:00–10:50 — Victory Parade at the square of the House of Culture "Energetik". 11:00–11:15 — Ceremonial rally. 11:15–11:40 — Laying of flowers at the Monument to the Liberator Soldier. 11:40–12:00 — Operation of thematic sites on Victory Boulevard. 12:00–12:35 — Theatrical performance. 12:35–14:00 — Ceremonial reception from the Head of the Zainsk District R.G. Karimov. 12:30–14:00 — Concert of children's creative groups (House of Culture "Energetik"). 14:00 — Screening of war films. 18:30–20:00 — Performance by Tatyana Davydova and local groups. 20:00–21:00 — Stars of Tatarstan stage: Yasmin and Vladimir Vasilyev. 21:00–21:55 — Cover band "Shum-gam". 21:55–22:00 — Legendary song "Victory Day" performed by Boris Grishin.

      How to become a volunteer or participant?

      On May 1 at 10:00, the "Volunteers of Victory" action will start at the Monument to the Liberator Soldier. Everyone is welcome to join; help is especially needed in caring for monuments and accompanying veterans.
