According to the document, the Ministry of Energy and the FAS will enter into special agreements with a number of oil companies. Within the framework of these agreements, the volumes of fuel supplies to the domestic market of Russia will be clearly defined. In addition, the companies will commit to keeping retail prices at gas stations at the level of inflation in 2026 — this will apply to both automotive gasoline and diesel fuel.

      The goal of the decision made is to ensure sufficient volumes of fuel in the domestic market during the traditional seasonal increase in demand, including during the peak of agricultural fieldwork.
