The rear worker Irek Tagirovich Urazaev from the Aktanysh district of Tatarstan celebrated his 95th birthday in April. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Tatarstan. Irek Tagirovich Urazaev was born on April 28, 1931, into a large family of teachers in the village of Usy in the Aktanysh district. There were nine children in the family. In 1942, the head of the family, Tagir Badretdinovich, a primary school teacher, went to the front as a volunteer. He sent several letters, and then news came that he was missing in action. Later, Irek was informed that his brother Rustem, who also went to the front, was also missing. In the house with a straw roof, where four other children remained, Irek found himself as the eldest, the press service reported. The teenager harnessed a horse and plowed the soil from early morning. After work, he went to school in Baisarovo, walking four kilometers back and forth. The classroom where he studied was poorly heated. After finishing school, Urazaev tried to enroll in a pedagogical college, but during that hungry time, his family needed help, and he went to work. After the war, in 1948, the young man still enrolled in the Menzelinsk Pedagogical College. In his third year, he was drafted into the army and served in aviation. After special training, mastering the specialty of radio mechanic, he was assigned to the 9th Guards Fighter Division, which provided air defense for Moscow. There he serviced 48 aircraft of the aviation regiment and participated in the provision of twelve military parades throughout his time there. In 1955, the young man was demobilized and returned home. In 1963, Irek Tagirovich, with his young wife Rozaliya Salikhova, a graduate of the Menzelinsk Pedagogical College, moved to Naberezhnye Chelny. For 14 years, Irek Tagirovich worked as the director of a children's home in Begishev, graduating 500 wards. He then headed the school named after Mullanur Vakhitov. After that, he worked for another five years as the deputy director for educational work at a boarding school for mentally challenged children. After retiring, he continued to teach history and geography at secondary school No. 4 for another seven years, until 2001. The total teaching experience of Irek and Rozaliya Urazaev is 90 years. Irek Tagirovich has a son and a daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Urazaev is writing memoirs, has published several autobiographical books, engages in public activities, and reads a lot. Irek Urazaev has been awarded honors. These include the medals "For Valorous Labor during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945," Zhukov's medal, "For Long-term Valorous Labor," badges "Excellence in Public Education," "Excellence in the Air Force," and "Shock Worker of the Kama Automobile Plant." He is a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, a teacher of the highest category, an honorary citizen of Naberezhnye Chelny, and a distinguished teacher of Russia.
