Robert Ramazanov from Zainsk has been working as a driver for 49 years.

      Robert Ramazanov is a man who has been working as a driver for almost half a century. In that time, children have grown up, several generations of cars have changed, and the roads have transformed beyond recognition. In the army, he was a mechanic-driver of an infantry fighting vehicle. The military school behind the wheel of an BMP taught him calmness, endurance, and a sense of responsibility. And when he switched from heavy combat vehicles to civilian cars, this experience added confidence on the road.

      After demobilization in 1977, Robert Ramazanov began working as a driver in the collective farm of his native village, Verkhny Nalim. Then he moved to Nizhnekamsk, where he also worked as a driver for four decades. Organizations changed, but his responsible attitude towards work and love for transport remained unchanged.

      "I have worked on so many different vehicles," he recalls now. "Kamaz, PAZ, Gazelle" – there are no secrets for him in the engine or suspension. Any car in his hands becomes obedient and reliable.

      Today, Robert Ramazanov is an irreplaceable person in the editorial office of "Zainsk-inform." Journalists have their own rhythm: constant rush to meetings or events, tight deadlines for submitting materials, but Robert abiy – as his colleagues affectionately call him – always knows how to arrive at the right place on time.

      Moreover, there is always a supply of candies in his service car, which he generously shares with the editorial staff. The candy is quickly eaten, but the pleasant and warm feeling of care lingers for a long time.

      Robert abiy treats his car with a reverence that you don't find in every car owner. The interior and body are polished to a shine, and for comfort, he orders amusing little things from marketplaces that bring warmth on the road. Sometimes an automatic robot air freshener settles in the car, or a little helicopter spins its blades above the dashboard.

      And when the engine quiets down, the driver immerses himself in reading: in his free time, he can often be seen with a newspaper or a book in the Tatar language.

      Over the years of his professional activity, the roads have become better, smoother, and firmer, and there are more cars, but the drivers remain the same: some are polite, some are not.

      The sound of the engine is like music to him, and the ribbons of roads are like an endless story. With forty-nine years of experience behind him, his soul still craves the wind and new horizons.

      "I like to travel to new, interesting places, admire the beauty outside the window, and communicate with various interesting people," admits Robert abiy.
