Project "Young Agronomists-Researchers" in the preparatory group of kindergarten No. 2

      The project "Young Agronomists-Researchers" in the preparatory group of the kindergarten is an educational, research, and creative activity aimed at expanding children's understanding of the surrounding world, fostering respect for labor, and developing interest in nature and agriculture. Within the framework of the project, children learn to care for plants, get acquainted with the profession of an agronomist, conduct experiments and observations, and record the results in diaries and drawings. An important part of the work was the creation of a "windowsill garden" and a plot in the kindergarten, where children independently planted seeds, cared for the plants, and observed their growth. The main objectives of the project are: 1. To teach children to care for plants in indoor conditions. 2. To expand knowledge about cultivated and wild plants. 3. To form an understanding of the necessity of light, warmth, moisture, and soil for plant growth. 4. To develop observation skills, the ability to draw conclusions, and to record observations. 5. To instill a sense of responsibility and respect for labor. 6. To involve parents in joint activities: assistance in acquiring materials, participation in planting and caring for plants. Project results: - Children learned to care for plants and conduct observations. - Knowledge about the dependence of plant growth on external conditions emerged. - A respectful attitude towards labor and nature was formed. - Parents actively participated in the implementation of the project. Project significance: The project contributes to the development of cognitive activity, ecological education, and labor skills in children. It helps to form a careful attitude towards nature in preschoolers, develops curiosity, independence, and the ability to work in a team. Such initiatives are especially relevant for urban children, who do not always have the opportunity to observe the process of growing plants.
