      In the Bavlinsky district, a sanitary and ecological two-month campaign continues. Specialists from the "Road Traffic Safety" department, together with a representative from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the republic, conducted an on-site inspection of roadside areas.

      Commission members inspected the condition of the roadside strips of highways near the city of Bavly. The aim of the raid is to identify cluttered areas and eliminate unauthorized dumps. During the on-site inspection, the inspectors discovered several pollution hotspots. One of them is located in a forest area near the entrance to Bavly. Local residents had been dumping various waste here – from construction debris to furniture. According to the inspectors' assessment, a significant area is cluttered – it is evident that garbage has been accumulating here for more than one month. – A dump with waste of hazard classes 4-5 has been found – solid household waste, construction debris, and wood waste. This is a serious source of environmental pollution. Based on the act, the Ministry of Ecology will first determine who owns the land, and then issue an order or decree with deadlines for the elimination of this unauthorized dump, – explained Ruslan Unaybekov, the leading specialist of the monitoring and analysis department of the road economy territorial administration in the city of Almetyevsk. Another polluted area is located along the Bavly – Potapovo-Tumbarla highway. Here, cases of long-term unauthorized disposal of household and construction waste have been recorded. As specialists note, such accumulations of garbage are not uncommon for the district. – During road inspections with ecologists, we regretfully note that roadside areas are so cluttered. We would like to see order, – noted Razida Ignatieva, head of the branch of the State Budgetary Institution "Road Traffic Safety" in the Bavlinsky district of the territorial administration of Almetyevsk. Monitoring the sanitary and ecological condition of road service points, right-of-way strips, and roadside areas is an important step towards preserving nature and ensuring safety on the roads.

      The raid showed that residents continue to throw waste anywhere. Specialists urge residents to treat the environment with care and to prevent the formation of unauthorized dumps.

      As a result of the inspection, warnings or orders regarding the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements of environmental legislation and the elimination of dumps will be sent to the owners of the relevant facilities.
