In Tatarstan, more than 19 million rubles have been allocated for childcare benefits for children up to one and a half years old since the beginning of the year.

      Since the beginning of the year, the branch of the Social Fund of Russia in Tatarstan has allocated more than 19 million rubles to residents of the republic for the payment of benefits for the care of children up to one and a half years old. This was reported by the press service of the OSFR in RT. As clarified by the department, in 2025, 100.4 million rubles have already been allocated for these purposes. Benefits can be received not only by mothers but also by fathers, other relatives, or guardians who are actually taking care of the child. For officially employed citizens, the payment is processed simultaneously with the parental leave, while unemployed individuals must independently submit an application to the Social Fund. The amount of the monthly benefit for unemployed residents is 10,669 rubles. Applications for benefits can be submitted through the unified state services portal. For unemployed parents, benefits are assigned after a comprehensive assessment of need — specialists check the family's income and assets. However, this rule does not apply to parents, relatives, and guardians who were dismissed during parental leave, as well as to women who lost their jobs during maternity leave due to the liquidation of the organization, and a number of other categories of citizens.
