In Kazan, residents are being given free wood chips made from recycled Christmas trees.

      In the capital of Tatarstan, you can receive free wood chips made from recycled Christmas trees. The material was leftover from the environmental campaign "Yolki-palki," during which residents donated about 2,500 coniferous trees. The distribution of wood chips takes place daily from 07:00 to 19:00 at the location: Vasilychenko Street, 6. Residents are asked to bring their own containers. The obtained material is suitable for mulching garden beds and flower beds, helps retain moisture in the soil, and protects plants from weeds. The wood chips can also be used for landscaping garden paths or as bedding for animals. The project was implemented by the "Clean Games - Tatarstan" team in collaboration with the Kazan city administration.
