Tatarstan leads among the regions of Russia in terms of business support for participants of the SVO.

      According to the results of the first quarter of 2026, the Republic of Tatarstan leads among the regions of Russia in the amount of funds allocated to support entrepreneurs who are participants of the special military operation and their families. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. More than 145 million rubles in state support were issued in the first quarter of 2026, with 100% of the microloans provided online through MSP.RF, the agency clarified. The leading regions also included Udmurtia (almost 36 million rubles in support), Samara and Saratov regions (15 and 10 million rubles respectively). Overall, across the country, participants of the special operation and suppliers of products for military needs received 154 million rubles in preferential loans through the Digital Platform MSP.RF. More than 80% of the total volume of such specialized microfinance support was accounted for by the Volga Federal District. Participants of the special operation who are running or planning to open their business in Tatarstan are offered a set of support measures, which includes the possibility of attracting a loan at a reduced rate for the development of their own business. The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with subordinate institutions supporting entrepreneurship within the framework of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy," is implementing a set of measures aimed at assisting entrepreneurs who are participants of the special military operation (as well as their family members) in opening and developing their own businesses. Among the republican specialized business support programs, there are both financial and non-financial support measures. In particular, a loan under the special product "Support for the Special Military Operation" is provided for an amount of up to 5 million rubles at a minimum rate of 5% per annum. According to the product conditions, a preferential loan for a term of up to three years can be obtained by companies established by participants of the special operation or their relatives, as well as those who have signed an employment contract with a participant of the special military operation or sent one or more employees for military service under contract. Non-financial support measures include consultations, assistance in starting and developing one's own business, business plan development, and a number of others.
