Kazan Metro will extend its hours until 00:30 on Victory Day.

      The Kazan Metro will switch to an enhanced operating mode and will be open until 00:30 on May 9. To ensure passenger safety, the presence of metro service staff will be increased at all stations. Additional electric trains will be deployed on the line with minimal intervals to allow residents and guests of the city to get home after the festive concert and fireworks. Ground electric transport will operate on a weekend schedule on May 9, 10, and 11. On May 9, trolleybus route No. 2 will completely cease operations, while route No. 7 will only go to the River Port. During the "Immortal Regiment" event on May 9 from 11:00 to 17:00, the movement scheme of several trolleybus routes will change. Routes No. 3, No. 5, and No. 7 will turn around after the "CPKiO" stop opposite the Varvarinskaya Church. Route No. 8 will operate during this period from the Universiade Village to the Gabdulla Tukay Square. On May 10, the movement of trolleybus No. 2 will be restored after the opening of the "1000th Anniversary Square." Route No. 7 will start running to the railway station after the opening of Tashayak Street.
