      Is the sun to blame? The world court of Almetyevsk has ruled to fine LLC "ZHEU-7" 100,000 rubles for failing to comply with the order of the Housing Inspection of Tatarstan. The reason was the disregard for the requirement to clear the roof of house No. 47 on Lermontov Street from icicles. An inspection conducted on February 18 revealed the presence of icicles on the roof. The management company was given an order to eliminate the violation by March 3. However, a follow-up inspection showed that the icicles on the roof remained. The director of LLC "ZHEU-7" tried to justify herself by citing sunny weather after the work was done, which, according to her, led to the reformation of icicles and ice. The court, having heard the arguments of the parties, found LLC "ZHEU-7" guilty of committing an offense under part 24 of article 19.5 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation and imposed a fine of 100,000 rubles. The attempt to shift responsibility onto weather conditions does not relieve the management company of the obligation to ensure the safety of residents. Sunny weather, no matter how much it contributes to the formation of icicles, does not negate the need for regular inspections and, if necessary, repeated cleaning work. In this case, the court clearly indicated that the order from the Housing Inspection required not just a one-time cleaning but maintaining the roof in proper condition within the specified time frame. On the same day, the director of the management company was held administratively liable for failing to post the acts of completed work on the federal platform GIS ЖКХ. Despite the issued order, she did not comply. Since this is the first such violation for the director under this article, she was given a warning as a penalty. The obligation to disclose information about the acts of completed work remains in effect.
