The chief veterinarian of the Leninogorsk State Veterinary Association, Rashat Akhmetov, has been awarded the title of "Honored Veterinarian of Russia." The corresponding decree, published on the Kremlin's website, was signed by the country's president, Vladimir Putin. The title was awarded for merits in the field of veterinary medicine and many years of conscientious work. In addition to Akhmetov, six other specialists have been awarded the same title. Among them are: the chief veterinarian of the Kaliningrad region, Mikhail Kravchenko, the chief veterinarian of one of the clinics in the Kostroma region, Sergey Lapshin, the head of the "Skopin District Veterinary Station," Valeria Moleva, and other doctors in this field.
Earlier, Putin awarded a resident of Tatarstan, Alfinur Askarova, the Order of "Parental Glory."
