      The King of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim, announced that after his visit to Moscow for the celebration of the 81st anniversary of Victory, a Aurus Senat limousine has joined his fleet. This was stated in a post on his official social media page. "Owning an Aurus Senat limousine by His Majesty the Supreme Ruler of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim, is considered a special honor, symbolizing the close ties and strong friendship between Malaysia and the Russian Federation," he wrote. The ceremony for the handover of the vehicle took place at the "Garage of Special Purpose" museum in the Russian capital. "Aurus is known for its combination of modern technologies and high safety standards," the publication notes.

      Recall that the King of Malaysia arrived in Moscow to participate in the celebrations for Victory Day. In the Kremlin, he held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. "Our relations between our countries are developing well. Next year we will celebrate the anniversary of our diplomatic relations, and a lot has been done on both sides during this time," Putin said at the beginning of the meeting (quote from the Kremlin website).

      The Senat is the base model of the Russian premium brand Aurus, produced in sedan and limousine bodies, including armored versions. In 2024, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the city government signed an agreement with Aurus to implement an investment project for the creation of a car manufacturing plant at the former Toyota factory.

      Currently, Aurus cars are produced in the special economic zone (SEZ) "Alabuga" in Tatarstan. The capacity of this site allows for the production of up to 5,000 cars per year. At the same time, armored versions are assembled at the experimental production facility of NAMI (a federal state unitary enterprise under the Ministry of Industry and Trade) in Moscow.
