In Tatarstan, a plan to support families and large families until 2036 has been approved.

      The government of Tatarstan has approved a plan of activities for the implementation of family and demographic policy in the republic. The document is designed until 2036 and includes support for large families, strengthening traditional values, legal education for citizens, assistance to orphans, and the construction of new kindergartens. Work will be carried out within the framework of the national project "Family."

      A new document has been launched in Tatarstan, which defines how families will be supported and demographic issues will be addressed in the republic in the coming years. This concerns the plan of activities for the implementation of the Action Strategy in the field of family and demographic policy and support for large families in Russia until 2036. The order was signed in the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan. The document was developed as part of the national project "Family."

      What exactly will be done

      The plan is extensive and covers various aspects of life. The first and foremost is the strengthening of the institution of the family. Authorities intend to protect and promote traditional family values. This is not about loud slogans, but about concrete work. Every year, at least a thousand events will be held in the republic for the legal education of citizens. People will be informed about their rights and obligations, and helped to understand the intricacies of legislation related to family, motherhood, fatherhood, and childhood. Special attention will be given to non-profit organizations and volunteers. Support will be provided for social projects that popularize traditional family values. Among such programs are "Give Them Love" and "Change." The first provides individual care for orphans who are in hospitals. While the child is being treated, there is a person next to them who can hold their hand, read a fairy tale, or simply be there. The second program helps children overcome speech development delays. The earlier classes begin, the greater the chances that the child will catch up with their peers.

      Another important initiative is the "Family Club." It supports families with orphaned children. They help not only with words but also with deeds: providing food, clothing, household appliances, and sports equipment. Additionally, they organize leisure activities so that children feel needed and happy.

      Kindergartens: construction and renovation

      Issues with kindergartens in Tatarstan are also being addressed systematically. By 2030, it is planned to build two new preschool institutions in those populated areas where there is a pressing need. The specific locations are not yet named, but they will be chosen based on an analysis of the demographic situation.

      Furthermore, by 2028, a major renovation and complete equipping of sixteen kindergartens will be carried out. This is not just cosmetic repairs but includes the replacement of communications, windows, doors, and the updating of furniture, toys, and educational materials. The goal is for children to attend modern, bright, and safe buildings, while educators work in comfortable conditions.

      Funding

      All these activities will require funding. Resources have already been allocated in the budget of Tatarstan. Expenses will be within the limits of the appropriations established by the law on the budget of the republic. The Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of Tatarstan is responsible for implementation. This agency will ensure that plans do not remain on paper but turn into real assistance for people. For large families, for orphans, for those who are just about to become parents, all these measures should create conditions in which giving birth and raising children will become easier, calmer, and more joyful. In Tatarstan, it is understood that investments in families are investments in the future of the republic. And the new plan of activities is another step in this direction. Not quick, not loud, but very important. Because family begins not with laws, but with concrete help: with a bed in a hospital where a child will not be left alone, with a place in a kindergarten, with renovations in an institution where a mother takes her child every morning. All of this is now included in the plan. It remains to wait for its implementation.
