"United Russia" and the Government ensured the agricultural leadership of the country

      The Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia party, Vladimir Yakushev, stated at the plenary session of the regional reporting and program forum "There is a Result!" in Omsk about the further strengthening of the agricultural sector and the development of rural areas within the framework of the updated People's Program of the party. This was reported by the press service of United Russia. He emphasized that Russia is a world leader in wheat exports, and domestic agricultural products are supplied to more than 160 countries around the world. According to him, agriculture has become a key driver of the economy and an important part of ensuring food sovereignty. "At the moment, Russia provides itself with grain at 169% and meat at 101.7%. We are the world leader in wheat exports. As our President noted, Russian grain, vegetable oils, fish, confectionery, and other goods are known and loved in more than 160 countries around the world. Behind these records are specific decisions made by United Russia," said Vladimir Yakushev. He added that together with the Government, significant state support for farmers has been ensured – about 665 billion rubles of federal funds just last year. A separate direction of the new People's Program will be the comprehensive development of rural areas. More than 110 billion rubles are planned for its implementation in 2025. According to Yakushev, the implementation of the program has already led to the construction and modernization of schools, kindergartens, FAPs, clinics, sports and cultural facilities, as well as the renewal of road and housing infrastructure. He noted that rural mortgages at 3% have become indefinite and have allowed tens of thousands of families to build their own homes. Another priority is the development of the human resources potential of the countryside. More than a thousand school agricultural classes have been opened across the country, and programs such as "Rural Doctor," "Rural Paramedic," "Rural Teacher," "Rural Cultural Worker," and "Rural Coach" are in operation. In turn, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev stated that "United Russia" is a key partner of the Government in the development of the agro-industrial complex and actively participates in shaping sectoral policy. He reported that the volume of state support for the agro-industrial complex in recent years has exceeded 500 billion rubles annually. Patrushev noted the introduction of digital technologies, autopilot systems, artificial intelligence, and robotic equipment in agriculture. The system for selling agricultural products is also developing: about 80 agro-aggregators operate in the country. Special attention is paid to training personnel. Within the framework of the national project, more than a thousand agro-technological classes have already been created, and by 2030 their number should increase to 18,000. Since 2020, transformations have affected 13,000 settlements, improving the quality of life for 17 million people. "In the horizon of 2030, we face extremely serious tasks related to maintaining the share of the rural population, increasing the number of improved housing, enhancing staffing levels, and attracting youth to the industry," noted Dmitry Patrushev. State Duma Deputy Ilya Wolfson, commenting on the results of the forum, stated that Tatarstan makes a significant contribution to ensuring Russia's agricultural leadership. He noted that the republic is one of the key regions in the development of agriculture. "I proudly note the contribution of Tatarstan's farmers to this world leadership. Our republic is one of the main breadwinners of the country. Recently, we had another working trip to the districts with the head of Tatarstan, Rustam Nurgalievich: we specifically looked at how the sowing is going. Work is in full swing in two shifts everywhere. This is an excellent, intensive pace, and we can confidently hope that the labor of our farmers will yield worthy results," he said. He also emphasized that the development of rural infrastructure and the creation of comfortable living conditions are key factors in retaining youth in the countryside. "I consider this one of the most important elements of our policy to ensure food sovereignty. It is vital for us to retain youth in the countryside. And for this, we need to create conditions under which moving to a big city would not seem like an unambiguously winning option. We need to create equal, comfortable living conditions everywhere. And we see that Tatarstan is doing very well in this regard," noted the deputy.

      The start of collecting proposals for the new People's Program of United Russia was announced by the party chairman Dmitry Medvedev on February 19 at the first regional reporting and program forum of the party "There is a Result!" in Yekaterinburg. The party will hold similar forums in all federal districts. At these forums, the Government will report on the implementation of the People's Program of United Russia in all areas. In addition, proposals will be formed for a new program document. The party's program will consist of two documents. The first is the actual election program, which will gather solutions to the pressing issues facing the country, and the party's work plan for the term of the future composition of parliament. The second block will contain the fundamental ideological and value guidelines of the party, describing the strategic image of Russia. United Russia will present the framework of the program for decades in June, and in August, by the second stage of the party Congress, the People's Program for five years. United Russia has created an expert council for the preparation of the People's Program. It includes Heroes of the Russian Federation, participants of the SVO, representatives of higher education and science, the rocket and space and nuclear industries, industry and business, the real sector of the economy, public associations, and trade unions.
