Veterans of the Great Patriotic War in Tatarstan receive two pensions simultaneously.

      Participants and disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War in the Republic of Tatarstan have the right to receive two pensions simultaneously: an old-age insurance pension and a state disability pension. The average total amount of these payments exceeds 63 thousand rubles. In addition, veterans are entitled to a number of additional support measures. As reported by the Social Fund of Russia (SFR) branch in the Republic of Tatarstan, participants and disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War can simultaneously receive an old-age insurance pension and a disability pension under state pension provision. The average combined amount of these two pensions for this category of citizens exceeds 63 thousand rubles. In addition to pension provision, veterans receive an annual payment of 10 thousand rubles according to the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated April 24, 2019, No. 186. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War also receive a monthly cash payment (ECP). Its amount for participants of the Great Patriotic War is 6,595.78 rubles, and for disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War – 8,794.41 rubles (taking into account the cost of a set of social services). Furthermore, an additional monthly financial support of 1,000 rubles is paid to the pensions of disabled veterans and war participants. "Our duty is to surround with care and attention those who gave us a peaceful sky above our heads. In Tatarstan, we strive to ensure that every veteran of the Great Patriotic War receives all the due payments in full and on time. Two pensions, monthly cash payments, additional financial support, and the annual presidential payment are just part of the support that the state can provide," noted Edward Vafin, head of the Social Fund of Russia branch in the Republic of Tatarstan.
