From a source close to the investigation, "Tatar-inform" was able to find out that the tragedy occurred accidentally. The men were not previously acquainted, and upon meeting, they had a quarrel, after which Bulat Khismatullin decided to take revenge on his offender with a cold weapon. Earlier, "Tatar-inform" reported that the murder took place on Burkhan Shahidi Street. The young man stabbed the 49-year-old man with a karambit knife about five times, after which the victim died from his injuries.
As "Tatar-inform" learned, the attacker was presumably intoxicated – he was detained at the scene. A criminal case has been initiated for murder. The young man faces up to 15 years in prison.
