      In Kazakhstan, the population will have debts written off amounting to several billion tenge as part of a new administrative reform. This was reported to journalists by the deputy of the Mazhilis of the country's parliament, Snezhana Imasheva. Kazakhs will have fines imposed by law enforcement agencies written off. In particular, debts related to violations of traffic rules (TPR), as well as certain types of accrued penalties, may fall under the amnesty. However, this concerns minor violations, not those that pose a threat to the life and health of people.

      The administrative amnesty in Kazakhstan will be conducted for the first time in the country's history. The bill was initiated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who instructed the amnesty of citizens for criminal and administrative offenses that do not pose a threat to the safety of citizens and the country.

      The total amount of written-off debts for Kazakhs may exceed several billion tenge.

      Earlier, it became known that in the first quarter of 2026, bailiffs in Tatarstan collected more than 5 billion rubles from debtors.
