People remember and appreciate the legacy of Vladimir Wolfovich," noted Slutsky. Earlier, the decision to name the street after Zhirinovsky was unanimously supported by the city council. At the same meeting, the deputies decided to name one of the parks in the center of Ufa in honor of the poet, writer, and playwright Mustai Karim. It is worth noting that the question of naming the street was first raised at the end of 2025. At that time, the city administration conducted an online survey, and more than half of the participants—786 people—opposed this idea. In March, the survey was repeated, as the authorities explained that the first attempt showed a significant divergence of opinions and required further consideration. In the second vote, the initiative was supported by 59% of the 4.7 thousand respondents.
