During the training period, they also receive monetary allowances from the Ministry of Defense of Russia and additional payments from the enterprises whose facilities they protect. “From the moment they arrive for military training, they receive the status of a serviceman. All laws, all regulatory legal acts, and all social guarantees concerning servicemen apply to them,” emphasized Minnetdinov. In addition to monetary allowances, servicemen are provided with modern equipment, free meals, medical assistance, and mandatory life insurance. The military commissariat reminded that units of reservists for the protection of critical infrastructure are being formed under the auspices of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Before performing their tasks, reservists undergo training in destroying aerial targets, including drones, as well as in repelling sabotage and terrorist attacks.
