The implementation of the federal project "Professionalism" will be discussed by the parliamentarians of Tatarstan and the Kirov region.

      Acting Chairman of the State Council Marat Akhmetov is on a working trip to the city of Kirov, where he is participating in a joint off-site meeting of the State Council Committee on Education, Culture, Science, and National Issues and the Legislative Assembly Committee of Kirov Region on Social Issues. Parliamentarians from the two entities are discussing issues related to staffing for the economy of the future and the effectiveness of the implementation of the federal project "Professionalism" in the regions. The meeting will take place at Vyatka State Agrarian Technological University, an educational institution where programs for professionalism are currently being actively implemented. The federal project "Professionalism," initiated by the Ministry of Education of Russia, started in 2022 as part of the national project "Education," and today continues within the new national project "Youth and Children." Within the framework of the project, educational-production clusters are being created, which represent the integration of colleges and organizations from the real sector of the economy, small and medium-sized enterprises, and the social sphere. The project covers key sectors of the economy: from machine engineering, energy, petrochemicals, and agriculture to IT, transport, tourism, and creative industries. To date, 601 educational-production clusters have been established in 86 regions of the country, where 2 million students are being trained in 24 industry-specific areas. In 2022, Tatarstan was one of the first regions in Russia to participate in the federal project. To date, 18 professional educational organizations in the republic have become winners of the project.

      Today, a meeting is also scheduled for Marat Akhmetov with representatives of the Tatar public in Kirov Region.
