      A new tourist route will connect Moscow, Kazan, and Izhevsk. The journey around the ring will start in 2027.

      "Russian Railways" continues to develop the tourist direction. Eleven new routes have been added to the schedule for 2027 and the first quarter of 2028. One of them — special? — will pass through the capital of Tatarstan. This was reported by the press service of the holding.

      What is known about the "Three Capitals" route

      The train has a telling name "Three Capitals." It will operate on a circular route: Moscow — Kazan — Izhevsk — Moscow. Kazan becomes one of the key stops of the new tourist direction. Travelers will be able to see three iconic cities in one trip, returning to the capital of Russia in a closed loop.

      The scale of the project is impressive

      After the addition of new routes, the total number of tourist trains of Russian Railways has reached 131. The geography covers 54 regions of the country. This means that railway travel is becoming more accessible and interesting for millions of Russians. Each route has been developed in terms of logistics and leisure.

      Where else can you go

      Among other new points on the tourist map of Russian Railways are: Izhevsk, Rzhev, Torzhok, Kalyazin, Shuya, Shchekino, and Uglich. These cities are not yet spoiled by mass tourism but have a rich history and architectural heritage. Now it will be easier to reach them by comfortable train. Please note: the exact launch dates and schedule for the "Three Capitals" will be published closer to 2027.
