In Tatarstan, it was proposed to introduce fines for employers for refusing to hire veterans of the Special Military Operation.
In Tatarstan, employers may begin to be held administratively liable for failing to meet the quota for employing veterans of combat operations. The corresponding project has been posted on the website of the anti-corruption expertise. The amount of fines is proposed to be set in the range of 20,000 to 100,000 rubles, depending on the status of the violator. For officials, the penalty will range from 20,000 to 30,000 rubles, for individual entrepreneurs — from 30,000 to 50,000 rubles, and for legal entities — from 50,000 to 100,000 rubles. Amendments, if the document is adopted, will be made to the Code of the Republic of Tatarstan on administrative offenses. It is assumed that the fines will not affect employers exempted from fulfilling the established quota. The law may come into force on January 1, 2027. Exemption from the obligation to comply with the quota is provided for employers — public associations of disabled persons and organizations created by them, as well as for companies undergoing bankruptcy procedures. In addition, the benefit may extend to organizations planning or already conducting mass layoffs, as well as to employers who do not have registered participants of the special operation seeking work in the Tatarstan employment service.
