      Today, 51-year-old Eduard Kaminsky, the current Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of Tatarstan, received a recommendation for the position of judge for civil cases of the Supreme Court of Russia. This is reported by the Association of Lawyers of Russia. Kaminsky has been a judge for 23 years, starting in 2003. He held this position for 8 years at the Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan, and in August 2011, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Kirovsky Court of Kazan, and since January 2013, he began his career at the Supreme Court of Tatarstan. In November 2015, he headed the judicial panel for administrative cases, in 2018 he was recognized as Judge of the Year in Tatarstan, and in 2021 he took the position of Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic, simultaneously heading the administrative panel for a six-year term. In May 2023, after Ilgiz Gilazov resigned from the chairmanship, Kaminsky was entrusted with the temporary duties of the head of the republican court. It should be noted that he himself did not claim this position. He relinquished his temporary powers in August 2024, when the President of the Russian Federation entrusted the leadership of the Supreme Court of Tatarstan to Azat Gilmutdinov. Eduard Stanislavovich is a candidate of legal sciences and an honored lawyer of Tatarstan. Before his appointment as a judge, he served in the prosecutor's office and investigation. In 1996, during his last year at the law faculty of Perm State University, he began as an assistant prosecutor in his hometown of Almetyevsk, then became a senior investigator in the prosecutor's office of Almetyevsk and Kazan (at that time, the Investigative Committee had not yet gained the status of an independent structure, - editor's note). In 2002, a year before his appointment as a judge, he became an investigator for particularly important cases in the republican prosecutor's office, specifically in the department for investigating crimes in the economic sphere.
