Police in Kazan solved the theft of a phone in a café.

      A report was received by the police of Kazan from a local resident about the theft of a smartphone in one of the cafes in the Aviastroitelny district. The amount of damage was over 40,000 rubles. As a result of operational-search activities, police officers detained a 59-year-old local resident on suspicion of committing this crime. She fully admitted her guilt and explained that upon seeing someone else's smartphone on the table, she decided to take it. The woman discreetly placed the property in her bag and hurried to leave. The stolen phone was seized at the residence of the detainee. A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of the crime provided for in Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Theft." The police of Kazan remind:

      1. Do not leave your belongings unattended, even for a short time.

      2. Do not trust strangers with your belongings. If you leave items in public places, make sure they are in reliable hands.
