Pesoshin congratulated the residents of Tatarstan on Chemist's Day.
The Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Alexey Pesoshin, congratulated the people of Tatarstan on Chemist's Day. "Tatarstan has glorious centuries-old scientific traditions and a high industrial potential that allow for the economic development of the country," he emphasized. He noted that enterprises in the chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, and oil refining sectors of the republic, many of which are among the largest in Europe and Russia, continue to produce new competitive products and strengthen cooperation with various sectors of the economy—from agriculture to the defense industry—despite the pressure of sanctions. According to him, the high reputation of the industry is backed by the daily labor, dedication, and professionalism of thousands of specialists and scientists. It was also emphasized that respect for labor, a desire for knowledge, continuous development, and selflessness should become the foundation for young chemists in Tatarstan. Pesoshin added that today, Russian industry is going through a difficult period that requires a reassessment of established approaches and relationships. At the same time, this period opens up new opportunities. The rich experience, as well as the scientific and production potential of shareholders, employees of chemical enterprises, and scientific organizations, allow for effectively overcoming emerging difficulties and quickly organizing the production of goods necessary for both industry and the population. The Prime Minister also noted that the comprehensive development of domestic industry and the implementation of innovative projects are sources of growth in citizens' welfare, increased economic security, and a guarantee of a decent life for future generations. "I sincerely want to thank all workers in the industry and scientific institutions for their high level of professionalism, constant striving for improvement in their chosen field, and responsibility in their work," he said. Special words of gratitude were addressed to the veterans of the industry who made a significant contribution to the establishment and development of large-scale chemistry in the Republic of Tatarstan. Today, many of them serve as mentors for young specialists, helping to preserve traditions and serving as examples of patriotism and commitment to spiritual values.
"I wholeheartedly wish all those who have tied their lives to the chemical industry good health, stability, success, happiness, and prosperity!" concluded Pesoshin. Photo: prav.tatarstan.ru
