      The court of the Republic of Tatarstan granted the prosecutor's claim and ordered one of the schools in the Leninogorsk district to pay the minor compensation for moral damage in the amount of 100,000 rubles. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan.

      The reason for the proceedings was an incident in which a schoolboy sustained a serious spinal injury due to a faulty door in the educational institution.

      According to the investigation, the child hit the door, which did not close tightly due to a technical malfunction. As a result of the fall, he sustained a closed compression fracture of the vertebra – an injury classified as moderate harm to health. The materials of the case were transferred to supervisory authorities for legal assessment. The Leninogorsk city prosecutor's office, acting in the interests of the victim, initiated legal proceedings, insisting on fair compensation. Representatives of the agency argued that the educational institution did not provide safe conditions for students, violating the requirements of legislation on the protection of children's health.

      At present, the court decision has not yet entered into legal force, and the parties have the opportunity to appeal.
