RT allocated 100 million rubles for the "Algarysh" grants to train AI specialists abroad.

      A grant program "Algarysh in the field of artificial intelligence" has been established in the republic. The resolution was signed by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Alexey Pesoshin. In 2026, 100 million rubles will be allocated from the Tatarstan budget. The maximum amount of a single grant is 10 million rubles. Citizens of Russia under the age of 35, permanently registered in Tatarstan, who have higher education or are studying in the final year of a bachelor's or specialist program, can apply for support. Training will take place in leading foreign scientific and educational organizations (excluding institutions from unfriendly countries). The grant covers tuition fees (up to 6 million rubles over three years), health insurance, transportation to and from the place of study, travel during summer vacations, as well as accommodation and meals (up to 200,000 rubles per month). After receiving their diploma, grant recipients are required to find employment in Tatarstan in the field of AI or in a position related to the application of artificial intelligence technologies (in government bodies, state institutions, or organizations with state participation) within 30 days and work for three years.
