Hundreds of residents of Tatarstan received free legal assistance as part of the Victory Day celebrations.
In honor of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a series of events providing free legal assistance took place throughout the republic. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan. A total of 268 people sought professional help, including families of heroes of the special military operation, participants in combat actions, as well as labor veterans and pensioners. More than two and a half hundred consultations were organized. The most in-demand issues were social and legal questions: benefits, payments, pension provision, and other forms of state support. Citizens were also interested in registration for housing, land disputes, medical rehabilitation, prosthetics, adaptation of housing for people with limited mobility, and labor relations. "This year is the Year of Military and Labor Valor. Within its framework and in honor of the 81st anniversary of Victory, as well as for the comprehensive support of veterans, rear workers, and participants in the special military operation, we tried to ensure that the events providing legal assistance became an effective support for them and all those facing legal difficulties," noted the first deputy minister of justice, Ilya Gomzik.
