A 40-year-old resident of the capital of Tatarstan was found guilty in the case of a collision between two boats on the Kazanka River. This was reported by the Volga Transport Prosecutor's Office. The incident occurred in August 2025 near the Water Motor Club in Kazan. The man, operating the boat "Slider 210," collided with the boat "Taktika 600K." The health of the driver of the latter was severely harmed. The defendant compensated for the damage caused, and the Kirov District Court of Kazan sentenced the man to 2 years and 6 months of compulsory labor. He is also prohibited from engaging in activities related to the operation of inland water transport for 2 years, according to the supervisory agency's statement.
