"This will be a targeted increase for those citizens who, for example, turned 80 in May. For them, starting June 1, the fixed payments of the insurance pension will double," she explained. After indexing, the fixed payment will amount to 19,169.38 rubles. The recalculation is assigned indefinitely but applies only to recipients of the insurance pension. A similar rule applies to pensioners who were assigned Group I disability in May: in this case, the fixed payment also doubles from the date of disability establishment. Bessarab reminded that the main pension increases have already been carried out this year. "On January 1, there was an increase for nearly 38 million recipients of insurance pensions. On April 1, it was for about 4 million recipients of social pensions. The next increase is planned for August 1 for working pensioners who worked in 2025. Finally, starting October 1, payments will be increased for pensioners who are former employees of law enforcement agencies and military personnel: their monetary allowance will increase by approximately 4%," the deputy concluded.
