Kogogina: In Tatarstan, 20% of industrial products are produced by SMEs in industrial parks.

      In Tatarstan, 20% of all industrial products are produced in industrial parks by small and medium-sized businesses. This was reported by State Duma Deputy from Tatarstan, Alfiya Kogogina, at the session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum dedicated to uniting the efforts of large and small businesses for regional development. "For large businesses, this is a clear, nearby business that supplies high-quality products," noted the speaker. As an example, Kogogina cited the Naberezhnye Chelny KIP "Master," which has been operating for twenty years and which she called the largest industrial park in Europe. According to her, it currently covers 1.5 million square meters, has 275 residents, 13,000 jobs, and produced goods worth 150 billion rubles last year. "For every ruble invested in federal funds over these <...> years, the state received 134 rubles in taxes in the federal budget," she emphasized. "What are industrial parks for regions and businesses? They are mutually beneficial joint work. What do [industrial parks] provide for small businesses? The availability of ready-made spaces means a quick start, a faster return on investment. For regions, this means new jobs and increased tax revenues," the deputy explained. Alfiya Kogogina also called small business the most extensive sector of the domestic economy. It involves 7 million entrepreneurs and 30 million jobs, accounting for 40% of the working-age population and 22% of GDP, with the latter figure having doubled over six years. Tax revenues have also doubled. The 13.5 trillion rubles received in 2025 by budgets at all levels is "one and a half times more than the entire oil industry combined."
