Yesterday, June 4, fire-tactical exercises for extinguishing forest fires took place in the territory of the Prigorodnoye Forestry. Specialists from the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Prigorodnoye Forestry," the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Training and Experimental Prigorodnoye Forest Enterprise," the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Forest Fire Center," and the 7th fire and rescue squad of the Federal Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the exercises. The main task of the exercises was to comprehensively practice inter-agency cooperation in emergency situations, as well as to improve the professional skills of personnel during forest fire extinguishing. Participants practiced the procedure for actions upon discovering a fire source, delivering equipment and firefighting gear to the scene, and protecting populated areas under threat.
As a result of the event, all services demonstrated a high level of readiness and coordination. It should be noted that similar exercises are regularly conducted in the republic to ensure the protection of forest areas and the preservation of Tatarstan's natural wealth.
