      Librarians not only shared interesting facts about the poet's life with passersby but also invited them to recall their favorite lines from classic works. Employees of the Central Library held a street event "Read Pushkin, read...". The event was timed to coincide with Pushkin Day and the Day of the Russian Language. Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin is the founder of the modern Russian literary language, which unites the peoples of Russia and makes us one big family. Librarians told residents and guests of the city about Pushkin Day in Russia and interesting facts from the life and work of the poet. Passersby were invited to recall their favorite works of Pushkin and read lines from them. Participants in the event could also test their knowledge about the great poet in quizzes "The Great Poet of Great Russia," "How the Eternal Pushkin Word," and "From the Tales of A.S. Pushkin." For children, questions were prepared to guess the tales based on plots and characters. Passersby happily answered questions and read lines from Pushkin's works. The most beloved were "Eugene Onegin," "Ruslan and Lyudmila," "The Tale of the Golden Cockerel," and "The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish."
