In the Sarmanov district, an 18-year-old driver of a Lada Granta entered the oncoming lane and collided with a Toyota Corolla. The driver of the Lada and his 32-year-old passenger died. An 8-year-old passenger of the Toyota died in the hospital. Four more people were injured (including two children from the foreign car). In the Apastovsky district, a 74-year-old driver of a Lada entered the oncoming lane and collided with a truck. The pensioner died, and the truck ended up in a ditch.

      The State Traffic Inspectorate of Tatarstan urges drivers to observe speed limits and overtaking rules.
