      It marks the end of the spring fieldwork and is an important part of Chuvash culture. The traditional folk holiday "Akatuy" took place in the village of Ubei in the Drozhzhanovsky district. Local residents and guests gathered at the Akatuy venue to participate in the festivities. The event began with a solemn laying of flowers at the obelisk dedicated to those who fell in the Great Patriotic War and at the monument to the fellow villagers of Ubei who honorably fulfilled their military and service duties. The secretary of the Drozhzhanovsky local branch of "United Russia," district head Marat Gafarov, emphasized the enormous role of the fighters who are currently guarding the interests of the Motherland. The ceremony also recognized Drozhzhanov residents who contribute to the support of the Special Military Operation: medals "For Assistance to the Special Military Operation" were awarded to Natalia Kuznetsova and Irina Kuzmina, the medal "For Military Valor" was awarded to Natalia Pustynina, the medal "For Contribution to Victory" was awarded to Pyotr Ukhvarkin, and the medals "Participant of the Humanitarian Convoy" were awarded to Viktor Petukhov, Alexander Yarukhin, and Irek Yafizov. The celebration continued with folk festivities. Marat Gafarov thanked the residents for preserving customs and traditions. He wished everyone happiness, health, and prosperity. The main decorations of the holiday were dances, songs, and performances. Throughout the day, creative groups and artists from the Chuvash stage performed in the square and on stage. Guests joyfully danced and supported the performers. A play area with fun contests and games was organized for children. Traditionally, many participants gathered for sports competitions in wrestling, tug-of-war, pole climbing, arm wrestling, kettlebell lifting, and others. Winners received diplomas and valuable prizes. The holiday featured booths from Chuvash villages organized by the heads of rural settlements. They treated guests to national dishes and homemade kvass.

      The Union of Chuvash Women of the Drozhzhanovsky District held an exhibition of artisans, master classes, and a beauty and talent contest "Chăvaš Piki – 2026." Additionally, during the celebration, letters of gratitude and honorary certificates were awarded to distinguished Drozhzhanov residents. Furthermore, there was a ceremony for the award named after Anatoly Chebanov: this year, the guardians of the Chuvash language and traditions were recognized as combat veteran, local historian, and writer Vladimir Yarukhin, member of the RT Union of Journalists, freelance correspondent for the newspapers "Tăvan en" and "Suvár" Gennady Karsakov, and member of the Union of Writers of Russia, editor-in-chief of the republican newspaper "Suvár" Irina Trifonova.
