This date was chosen not by chance and has deep historical roots: on June 8, 1701, Peter I issued a decree that marked the beginning of the creation of a state social protection system. Since then, eras have changed, but the main essence of the profession has remained unchanged – to extend a helping hand in difficult times. The deputy head of the district, Ivan Zakharov, congratulated everyone present on the holiday. In his speech, he emphasized the special significance of this noble mission. "A social worker is a true bridge of trust between the state and the citizen. It is your sensitivity, responsiveness, and professionalism that implement large-scale state support programs. You give people hope, help them overcome life's difficulties, and preserve the warmth of human communication in the most challenging situations. Thank you for your selfless work, patience, and wisdom. May there be more bright moments in your life!" he said. The deputy minister of labor, employment, and social protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, Yulia Abdrieva, joined in the congratulations, expressing deep appreciation to current employees and veterans of the industry. "Today, the Nurlat district is represented by the main structures that help people in difficult life situations, such as the boarding house and the comprehensive social service center, as our task today is active longevity, improving demographic indicators, and creating favorable conditions. Today, the social service system is very dynamic, and it is the first shield that our people interact with, to whom they come with their pains and sufferings. Solving these problems is a small feat. Therefore, each of you today is a hero of our time. I want to sincerely thank you for your work, dedication, and for not abandoning people in difficult life situations, always finding ways to solve their problems," she noted. Warm words and wishes for success in their difficult but vital work were also voiced by the head of the social protection department, Elena Afanasyeva, the head of the client service in the Nurlat district of the Social Fund of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Rushaniya Shakirova, and the director of the KCSO "Harmony," Razina Khisamutdinova. The culmination of the celebration was the award ceremony. The best social workers in the district, who give their strength and soul to their profession every day, received honorary certificates and letters of gratitude from the head of the district, the ministries of labor, employment, and social protection of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, the social protection department, the Pension Fund of Russia, and the "Harmony" center. A bright concert program was a wonderful gift for all guests. The festive mood was brought to the attendees by talented artists from the "Esperanza" dance ensemble and the best amateur performers from the Nurlat district, filling the event with music, smiles, and inspiration for new good deeds.
