      On June 12, Kazan will welcome the participants of the all-Russian project "Theatrical Train." It is being held in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Union of Theatre Workers of Russia.

      The "Theatrical Train" will arrive in Kazan on June 12 — a major cultural and educational project dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Union of Theatre Workers of Russia. It is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. The project will unite 160 theaters and over 5,000 artists. In 43 cities across the country, 280 performances, creative meetings, master classes, and exhibitions are planned. The ceremonial meeting of the train in Kazan will take place on June 12 at 9:30 AM at the Kazan-1 railway station. On the same day, an exhibition about theatrical art and stage professions will open.

      As part of the festival program, audiences will see performances from theaters in Bashkortostan, Mari El, and the Ulyanovsk region. Performances will take place on June 12 and 13 at various venues in Kazan, including the Karim Tinchurina Theater, the Gabdulla Kariev Young Spectator Theater, the "Ekiyat" Puppet Theater, the House of Friendship of Peoples of Tatarstan, the Kazan Kremlin, and the KGTYUZ.

      After the Kazan program, artists from Tatarstan theaters will continue their participation in the project. On June 14-15, they will perform in Nizhny Novgorod, and on June 16 — in Saransk.
