In Tatarstan, 688 million rubles will be allocated for the support of private household plots in 2026.

      In Tatarstan, there are 2,656 farms and 398 thousand personal subsidiary farms. This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Niyaz Khuramshin, at a meeting in the Government House. According to him, small farms account for a third of the republic's livestock population. They produce more than 75 percent of the potatoes and vegetables. Direct support for small farms will be increased by 300 million rubles in 2026, totaling 1.8 billion rubles. Of this, 688 million rubles will be allocated to support personal subsidiary farms. The majority of subsidies go towards maintaining cows. The most effective measure has been the construction of mini-farms. In 2025-2026, 108 such facilities were built. Subsidies amounted to 94 million rubles. The most farms were built in the Arsky (16), Alekseyevsky (11), Drozhzhanovsky, and Cheremshansky (6 each) districts. This year, subsidies for the purchase of bulls were introduced — 35 thousand rubles per head, but no more than 15 heads per farm. As a result of the first selection, 34 million rubles were allocated for 587 applications, and 1,872 bulls were purchased. The leaders were Kukmor, Baltasinsky, Alkeyevsky, Atninsky, Mamadyshsky, and Tyulyachinsky districts. At the end of June, the second stage will be announced with a remainder of 11 million rubles.
