      The teams of girls and boys from Kazan Federal University, consisting of 10 people (4 girls, 4 boys, and 2 representatives), will represent Tatarstan in the superfinal of the tournament of the Volga Federal District in 3x3 basketball among teams of boys and girls from higher education institutions. This was reported by the press service of the Presidential Envoy of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District. The tournament consists of three stages. First, a qualifying round was held at universities, then the prize-winners and winners of the regional stage were determined in matches. The best teams from the Volga regions will meet in the superfinal, which will take place in Perm from June 25 to 28. Matches will be held on June 26 and 27 at the "Yunost" sports complex. The project aims to create conditions for the development of sports leisure in educational organizations at all three levels of the educational system, as well as to promote street basketball as a mass and accessible sport. The author of the initiative is the authorized representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, Igor Komarov.
