      Today, the head of the regional executive committee of the party, Marat Samigullin, visited the Agliullin family and presented little Rauf with a tablet. Earlier, the boy's mother, Elvira Agliullina, wrote to the regional executive committee of "United Russia." She shared her son's story and asked for help in purchasing a tablet. Rauf was a long-awaited child. After birth, doctors diagnosed the baby with epilepsy, and later with cerebral palsy (CP). Specialists began to work with him actively, but the sessions provoked new seizures of the illness. As a result, at the age of 5, he underwent brain surgery, but it affected the area responsible for speech.

      Now Rauf is 10 years old. He knows sign language but cannot walk. The boy constantly engages in therapeutic physical education at the Kazan center "Kind Hands," diligently works with a speech therapist and a defectologist. Rauf attends a boarding school and is in the second grade. Here he learned to write and type, and he made new friends. He dreamed of a tablet to communicate more with his peers, but for his mother, who is now raising her son alone, such a purchase is difficult.

      "I spend all my funds and resources on my child's rehabilitation – that is more important, but at the same time, I want to arrange a celebration for him," shared Elvira Agliullina.

      Marat Samigullin said that the boy's story deeply touched the employees of the regional executive committee of "United Russia."

      "I read the letter at a staff meeting, and my colleagues decided to support the child. We pooled our own resources and bought a new tablet for Rauf, which we very much hope will help him in his studies and development," he noted.

      Along with the tablet, the head of the regional executive committee of "United Russia" presented Rauf with a backpack filled with stationery and a party symbol – a toy bear.
