      The Bugulminsk City Prosecutor's Office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a 46-year-old local resident. He was found guilty under paragraph "b" of part 2 of article 171.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (storage of ethyl alcohol without the appropriate license, committed on a particularly large scale). During the court proceedings, it was established that until March 12, 2024, the man, lacking special permission, illegally stored a large batch of ethyl alcohol in an annex to a private house in the city of Bugulma. A total of 107 boxes were seized. The total value of the seized products amounted to over 1.7 million rubles. The man fully admitted his guilt in committing the crime. Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the court sentenced the guilty party to 1 year and 6 months of conditional imprisonment with the same probation period. Additionally, the court took measures to compensate for the damage and confiscate the tools of the crime: - monetary funds in the amount of 188 thousand rubles, which were intended for the purchase of alcohol, were transferred to the state; - the convict's mobile phone was confiscated.
