This is a two-week marathon about how the psychological tricks of criminals work. In the format of confidential conversations—without lectures and moralizing. The popular social network Odnoklassniki and the Bank of Russia are launching a joint project. It is called "Soulful Conversation." This two-week marathon is dedicated to the psychological tricks used by scammers. The main feature of the project is the format of confidential conversations. There are no boring lectures or moralizing monologues here. Instead, viewers can expect live stories, guitar songs, and analysis of situations. Moreover, these are situations that any person can find themselves in. The participants of the project include the People's Artist of Russia Alexey Maklakov and Konstantin Nechetov. The latter is known as a TV presenter and the author of the popular group "Life Hacks from Nechetov" on Odnoklassniki. Together, they will perform five story-songs. Each of them is dedicated to one of the most common psychological "hooks" that criminals exploit. These include fear, urgency, greed, trust in authorities, and the illusion of exclusivity. Each video is a short sketch from life. It helps to understand how emotions are triggered and why, at the moment of psychological pressure, people lose vigilance. Marina Rykina, Director of the Public Relations Department of the Bank of Russia, commented on the launch of the project. She noted that many people fall into the trap of scammers. Criminals act swiftly, scaring their victims and not giving them a chance to recover. The creators of the project hope that it will teach people to quickly recognize fraudulent tricks. As a result, people will be able to save their savings. For the Bank of Russia, ensuring the financial security of citizens is an absolute priority. Throughout the project, text posts with cards and surveys will be published in the "Financial Culture" group on Odnoklassniki. They will be based on real user stories. These materials will analyze specific techniques of psychological pressure and popular fraudulent schemes. Among them are demands to urgently transfer money under threats to loved ones, false bonuses and winnings, deepfakes, erroneous transfers, and other scenarios.

      Odnoklassniki users will also be able to set thematic frames on their photos and participate in a contest of traditional Russian songs. The project promises to be not only useful but also engaging.
