Area on the rise: what is being built and repaired in Zainsk right now?

      The head of the Zainsk district visited construction sites: The Martial Arts Palace is nearing completion, and the "Zainsk-Bukhara" road is undergoing a complete overhaul.

      From major repairs of roads to the construction of modern stables, a large-scale beautification program has been launched in the district, affecting both the city and remote rural settlements. The active phase of the construction season continues in the Zainsk district. Today, June 17, the head of the municipality, Razif Karimov, together with the head of the district executive committee, Emil Galeev, and relevant specialists, conducted an inspection of key facilities. The commission's focus is not only on adherence to schedules and quality of work but also on addressing pressing issues raised by residents.

      "Zainsk-Bukhara": the road that was awaited

      The commission began its inspection with one of the most discussed roads in the district — "Zainsk-Bukhara." The section, worn to a critical state, has finally awaited major repairs this year. The contractor, LLC "Volga-Autodor," has already started milling the old surface on two sections with a total length of 6.5 kilometers.

      "We are preparing the base for the new pavement: compacting the soil, filling with gravel. The technology requires time, so we are working in two stages. We promise to complete it in the next season, but residents can already see that the process has started. We assure that everyone using this road will receive a quality asphalt surface," reported Alexander Yefanov, a representative of the contracting organization.

      As of today, the readiness of the facility is 19% of the planned volume. The total cost of the contract is 550 million rubles. The head of the district emphasized that the repair of this route is under personal control, as the most complaints have come from motorists.

      Quality over haste: rural streets and social facilities

      The facilities in rural settlements were also not overlooked. In the microdistrict of Stary Zainsk, road workers from the Zainsk Automobile Roads Administration "Tatneftedor" began updating Lomonosov Street as part of the republican program "Development of Rural Roads." Here, 545 meters of pavement will be repaired, and bus stop pavilions will also be modernized.

      The next stop was the village of Verkhny Pinyachi, where construction of a new building for the rural executive committee has been underway since early April. Work is in full swing.

      "The walls have already been raised, and engineering communications have been installed. The facility, costing 12 million rubles, should be ready by August 1," reported Emil Galeev.

      In the future, there will be a comfortable workspace: a spacious reception area for meetings with the public, an accountant's office, and an archive. The head of the district, Razif Karimov, recommended planning the landscape design immediately and planting blue spruces to make the building a true decoration of the village.

      Sports, tourism, and animal care

      The commission members showed particular interest during their visit to the sports and business complex "Fedotovo," where an unusual construction project for the district is underway. A modern stable with an area of about 1500 square meters is being built here. Owner Alexey Gorshunov shared that currently, 44 horses, including ponies and donkeys, are kept here. The animals are being prepared for competitions and for teaching horseback riding to anyone interested. The new complex will have showers for them and create all the conditions for world-class care.

      In the city itself, the pace of work is also impressive. On Oktyabrskaya Street, the replacement of the sewage collector is in full swing. Work is being carried out on the section from Nikiforov Street to Komsomolskaya.

      "Last year, at the initiative of the President of Tatarstan, a program for 'Modernization of Utility Infrastructure' was launched in the republic. The residents of Zainsk did not remain on the sidelines — we were among the first to get involved and began updating the city's sewage networks. Last season, 800 meters of the collector were replaced here, and this season, the task is to complete another 340 meters. And this is not the limit: plans are in place to allocate about 50 million rubles for the continuation of work. To forget about the problem once and for all, specialists are laying large-diameter polyethylene pipes — they will last for decades. At the same time, storm drains are being replaced. The main thing is to finish everything before the cold weather," emphasized the head of the district.

      Very soon, a new Palace of Martial Arts will open its doors in the 35th quarter. The building, which is transforming day by day, received high praise from the commission. The builders assured that the sports facility will be completed on time.

      Looking to the future: large-scale plans

      The head of the district paid special attention to the progress of work on the "Zainsk — Verkhny Uratma — Sheremetyevka" and "Kanash — Suyk-Chishma" routes. These routes, according to Razif Karimov, are of strategic importance for connecting with remote settlements. The repair of the section "Zainsk — Verkhny Uratma," with a length of 4.9 kilometers, is set to reach the finish line by 2027. Currently, road workers are ahead of schedule.

      "In 2025, we began constructing this road, primarily thinking about the comfort of the residents of the village of Karmalka. Now we are moving further — extending quality pavement to Verkhny Uratma. We expect to fully complete all work on this section by 2027," explained Rustem Garifullin, director of LLC "Tatneftedor."

      "The condition of the roads is one of the most pressing issues for both us and the residents of the district. Each year, more heavy machinery hits the roads: both Chinese trucks and our KamAZs — all of them seriously affect the wear of the pavement. And the old roads, built to previous standards, simply cannot withstand such loads. Therefore, today we are focusing on modern technologies and building truly durable roads. Large-scale work is currently underway on three routes. On major highways, road workers are removing the surface to a depth of up to a meter and relaying each layer anew. Residents of both Bukhara and Karmalka have complained for years about the broken roads — and finally, their voices have been heard. It is important that the work proceeds without delays, and for this, drivers should choose detours during the repair and not interfere with the road workers," concluded Razif Karimov.

      He added that, in addition to major highways, this year about 20 kilometers of streets in five rural settlements will be asphalted under the rural road program.

      Alongside the main highways, the "Kanash — Suyk-Chishma" route is also actively being repaired. Here, the road surface is being updated by specialists from the Zainsk administration of "Tatneftedor" — and the pace is impressive.

      In the village of Chubukly, the commission visited another significant facility — the local House of Culture, which is currently undergoing major reconstruction. The head of the district personally communicated with the contractors and emphasized that each stage of work must be executed flawlessly.

      "The main task is to complete all stages before the cold weather and to do it with quality, so that budget funds are not wasted. People have been waiting for these changes, and we must justify their trust," summarized the head of the Zainsk district.
