"United Russia" has taken control of safety in camps and the recreation of children with disabilities.

A meeting of the Commission on the People's Program of the regional branch of "United Russia" took place in Kazan, where the organization of summer recreation, patriotic spaces, major repairs of schools, and the results of a photography contest were discussed, as reported on the official party website. The meeting was chaired by the commission's chairwoman, State Duma deputy Tatyana Larionova. Activists from all districts of the republic participated via video conference, as well as Alsu Nabieva, Olga Voronova, Irina Terentyeva, Elena Kuzmicheva, Ruslan Shigabudinov, Svetlana Giniatullina, Ruslan Semyonov, and Rashit Abdrakhmanov. According to Ruslan Semyonov, this year, 239,643 children will rest in camps in Tatarstan, of which more than 175,000 will do so in the summer. Free vouchers will be provided for 53,000 children (in difficult life situations, with disabilities, from families of mobilized individuals, and others). A total of 8,657 vouchers have been allocated for children of participants in the Special Military Operation (SMO). Additionally, 3,551 children will rest in the Krasnodar Territory, 3,444 in Crimea, and 772 in "Artek" and "Orlyonok." Rashit Abdrakhmanov reported that there are 200 camps operating in Kazan, where more than 40,000 children will rest this year. A total of 774.8 million rubles has been allocated for these purposes. Under the "Summer for Children" program, 13 camps have been renovated this year (1.3 billion rubles). Since 2019, a total of 53 camps in Tatarstan, Crimea, and the Krasnodar Territory have been renovated (9.8 billion rubles). Tatyana Larionova called for monitoring the accessibility of summer recreation for children with disabilities. "Every municipality should analyze where children with disabilities can rest. I ask representatives of our commission in the field to meet with public organizations and determine further actions," emphasized Larionova. "Assistant educators are part of our career guidance activities with children for admission to pedagogical universities. There is a huge shortage of teachers in certain subjects, and the path to the teaching profession for many children begins precisely with being an assistant educator," Larionova noted the importance of training personnel for camps. The parliamentarian touched on the creation of "gratitude zones for SMO participants" with their photographs in each school. United Russia members will also organize party descents in camps for prompt responses to questions regarding their work. Larionova reminded that "United Russia" annually approves a budget prioritizing children's recreation topics. "We consider issues that concern parents sending their children to camps, schools, and kindergartens through voters," she emphasized. Party members are monitoring calls to the hotline for children's recreation at 8 (843) 207-28-73 (available 24/7). The safety of camps has also been placed under party control. Special attention was given to safety issues in camps during the meeting. Tatyana Larionova noted that safety passports are available in all institutions, but their validity period has expired or they have become outdated in some cases. The deputy also pointed out the emergence of satellite camps—tent cities at existing recreation bases. Larionova also reported that party members will analyze the passports and take the issue of safety measures under separate control by the commission for implementing the people's program. The parliamentarian reminded that the "United Russia" faction in the State Duma has adopted more than ten laws related to children's recreation and health improvement. According to her, much is changing in the educational process today. "We had a period when upbringing left schools, when we talked little about important things, about the life and condition of the child. We did not talk about patriotism," said Larionova, noting that a plan for unified actions with key dates has now been approved, which children are told about in camps. "United Russia" in Tatarstan, according to her, is also taking control of the implementation of this plan. "We respond to voters' questions, trying to respond effectively. And what is not feasible today, we include in proposals for forming a new people's program, which will be adopted at the upcoming congress and with which our United Russia members will go to new elections," summarized Tatyana Larionova. The meeting also summarized the results of the Positive User Photography Contest of the People's Program of "United Russia." The contest took place from December 1, 2025, to May 15, 2026, in five nominations: "The Future is in Our Hands," "Homeland of Inspiration," "Comfortable Life," "Impulse for Development," and "Territory of Opportunities." A total of 1,194 works were submitted to the all-Russian contest, 261 of which were from Tatarstan. The first deputy head of the executive committee of the party's regional branch, Svetlana Giniatullina, reported that 50 works (10 in each nomination) reached the finals, of which 13 were from Tatarstan. "We should be proud that literally one-third of the best works in Russia are from the residents of our republic!" emphasized Giniatullina, clarifying that the works were evaluated comprehensively: taking into account both votes and the quality of the photographs. Thank-you letters from State Duma deputy Tatyana Larionova were awarded to active participants of the contest—the Bavly, Zelenodolsk, Kazan, Mendeleevsk, and Rybno-Slobodsk local branches of "United Russia." Also recognized for initiative and creativity were Raniya Ayupova from the village of Koshlautch in the Arsky district, Leisan Galeeva from Mendeleevsk, and Yulia Shlyakhtina from Naberezhnye Chelny. The names of the winners of the all-Russian contest will be announced soon.
